What if the messiness and unknowability of art is exactly what society needs right now?
Exploring Societal Art is a 2.5 ECTS online course where students work in international, cross-disciplinary teams and engage with societal art practices across cultural, educational, and civic contexts. The course invites students to critically examine how art and culture interact with social issues, social change, and community engagement, while addressing key ethical questions related to participation, power, and representation.
The learning materials have been specifically curated for this course and include interviews and lectures by experts based at universities and cultural institutions across Europe.
